Biography

Sam Khoury is the president of CONSOR. His company specializes in the management and strategy development for technology driven companies and focuses on the valuation of trade marks and technologies.

Sam Khoury worked as the Senior Intangible Asset Appraiser of The Dow Chemical Company. Sam has several years of valuation experience. In addition to valuation of Patents, trade secrets and know-how, he developed training courses on technology assessment and valuation. He captured one of the valuation methodology on a software titled the "Technology Factor" Approach.

Before Dr. Khoury’s involvement in valuation he worked in the Intellectual Asset Management function where he developed the strategies and provided consultations to businesses on leveraging of intellectual properties.

Sam Khoury started his career as a researcher in the Central Research Organization. He received eight patents during his work in research. Two of his patents moved to pilot plant scale where he supported the development of those products through the Technical Service & Development function.

Sam is a trustee of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) and served as the Chairman of the Valuation Committee. Sam is a candidate member of the American Society of Appraisers.
